My name is Jaime dos Santos Soares. I live in Senhor da Serra village.I´m from Vale do Açor, a small village near Miranda do Corvo, Portugal,  where I was born on the 12th February  1966 and where I had my first studies.
My further studies were in Coimbra.
    It was also at the Mondego river city that I had my High School studies taking a Maths in the Faculty of Ciences and Tecnhology , University of Coimbra.

  I´m a Maths teacher in State School Góis.

        I started my job at the Avelar Brotero Secondary School in Coimbra in the school year 1994/95. It was were that I´ve done my pratice in order to be preparated as a Maths Teacher.
    From that year on, I´ve been a Maths teacher in the E. B. 2,3 Goís School. In this school I´m also the head of the Maths department. I´ve also been head of class and the supervisor of the  TRENDS ( Training Educators Trough Networks and Distributed Systems) and the  PEPT  (Educatiobn for all) Projects and the Radio and Informatic Clubs.

Some years ago (1987/8) I´ve also been a teacher at C+S Miranda do Corvo School. There I was teaching Handmade Arts.
 

     Among my interests I  point out one of them which is for me an imposition.
I´m particulary interest in all information concerning Cerebral Palsy, because I have a son that was born with this handicap.

    In an other way and as a Maths teacher I´m always interested in any theme and activity concerning Maths itself.
 
    I like football and I´m a Sport Lisboa and Benfica sympathizer. 

     In my free time I usualy go up to Aguieira dam to fish some Achigâ and Carp, or to Ceira river to fish some trout.
 
Other hobbies are:  Philately, photography and video.
