The
simple present is formed with the infinitive.
In the 3rd person singular (he / she / it ) the verb ends in -s (to like - he likes), or -es after ch,o,x,s ( to go - he goes ). Verbs ending in consonant and y change into -ies ( to cry - she cries)

We use simple present with frequency adverbs and time expressions like:
